Ohio Toy Breed Rescue is a Christian group dedicated to saving toy breed dogs from puppy mills, kill shelters and from owners who are no longer able to keep their dogs. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Each dog is placed in a foster home where he or she will receive lots of love and attention, training, and necessary vet care. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm treatment and /or preventative, socialized and evaluated for temperment. We try to find the perfect family match for each dog. We do not have a shelter, all dogs are placed in foster homes throughout Ohio. We like to meet with all potential adoptive families so we do not ship our dogs . We adopt to Ohio and surrounding states & have guidelines for adoption. An application must be completed and approved before we contact you regarding a dog. We follow our veterinarian's recommendations on health care as well as other issues.

Adopting a friend
Our adoption fees vary according to the expenses we have in each dog & the age of the dog. These expenses include:
The charge to pull the dog from a shelter or rescue the dog from puppy mill situations
Vet expenses including:
spay/neuter
vaccines including rabies
heartworm test and treatment if needed
heartworm preventative
any other vet expenses such as a dental or hernia repair
grooming
flea/tick treatment or preventative
collar/leash/toys, and treats
There are many other expenses such as gas, dog food, grooming supplies, cleaning products, and much more.....

collars, leashes, treats, toys, food, dog blankets or beds, & premium dog food.
